The Next Night 11:45p.m

I stood in front of my mirror admiring myself. I had never felt more beautiful, empowered, and independent as I did tonight. I had curled my hair and put it up in a half up half down style with a band of flowers around the crown of my head to match my dress. I wore simple diamond earrings, and a dainty diamond bracelet I had received for my 16th birthday, as well as white stilettos to match my dress. My white dress made my caramel-tinted skin look even darker and the light pink makeup I had chosen made my eyes look even bigger and greener.

I made my way to the ballroom accompanied by security. Everyone had already been introduced and was gathered around the staircase I would soon descend. Awaiting at the top was Xavier. My stomach fluttered and my Lycan howled at the sight of him. He was breathtaking in his black Armani suit. His muscles bulged through the material. His eyes widened as he took me in. I smiled at him as I approached. "Ari you are breathtaking," he whispered. "Right back at you." I smiled at him.

It was time for me to descend the stairs to the balcony where I would become one with the moon goddess. I heard the announcer as I stepped up to the edge of the stairs and took Xavier's elbow. My skin tingled at his touch. "Ladies & Gentlemen, Royal Family I introduce to you Princess Aria Elise Vanderbilt escorted by Sir Xavier Aaron Valentino" his voice echoed through the hall. The crowd below clapped quietly as the band played and I began my descent down the stairs.

A white runner led us through the crowd to the balcony. I could feel everyone's eyes on me as I made my way to the open double doors. As was a tradition they would usually follow and watch through the doorway, but once Xavier and I passed through the doors were closed and curtains were drawn. U had gasped and murmurs from the crowd. I released Xavier's elbow and my Lycan whimpered. She was however excited and focused on the power the moon held over us both.

It was as if it was calling to us. The feeling of freedom, power, and independence washed over me. I felt my buttons release on my dress. I knew from the tingle of my skin that Xavier was undoing my dress. "It's 11:59 Ari," he whispered. I nodded my head and began to slowly remove my dress. I let my top fall off my arms and around my waste. The more skin that was exposed to the Goddess the more powerful I felt. Was it supposed to feel this powerful, this strong? I wondered.

I cleared my mind and let my Lycan come forward. I let her take the lead. I knew my eyes were glowing and so was my skin. Like a jellyfish deep in the bottom of the ocean. My dress pooled around my feet and I stepped out of my heels. I was now completely naked. My Lycan took control lifting my head to the moon. Suddenly a bright flash of light poured from my body. I didn't know what was happening but I didn't care because it felt amazing. The power coursed through my veins as my body transformed. I thought it was going to be painful but it was completely the opposite. It felt freeing. My Lycan howled loudly at the moon. "You, my child have been chosen" A woman's voice echoed in my head. What or Who was that? The Goddess my Lycan reminded me.

Suddenly it was as if I had been transported to another world. I was standing in a brightly lit room. Out of the light came a beautiful woman. Long Black Silkie hair down past her bottom. The most perfect amazing features I'd ever seen on a woman and white glowing eyes. "Hello Aria." her voice was like an Angel's. It was the moon goddess. "Aria you have been chosen. You are the best part of your mother and her mother before her. The strongest bloodline of women in Lycan History. Aria you are going to change Lycan History as we know it. You, my dear are to do big things" she smiled at me. I started to speak and she held up her finger to her lips stopping me. "We've no time for questions my dear. All you need to know is that everything will be answered in time. Follow Your instincts and trust your Lycan. Your mate will be your only Allie at times, but in the end Aria you will stand strong and our kind will stand United." her voice echoed as everything shimmered away. I was back on the balcony and I was once again in my human form. I didn't know what had just happened but what I did know was my whole world as I knew it had just changed.

I dressed and turned to find Xavier still watching over me. Only this time it was different. Once our eyes locked we both hit our knees. Love, devotion, lust, and protectiveness poured through my body. My Lycan was howling "Mate, Mate" she panted. Xavier finally stood and lifted me in his arms against his hard body. He brought his lips down crashing onto mine. It was as if electricity was coursing through my body. I had never been kissed this way before and it had never felt anywhere near this good. Xavier pulled back from me to catch his breath " Goddess" I whispered. "Aria if you don't walk back into the ballroom right now I'm not going to be able to control myself and I'm going to take u right here on this balcony," he growled. "I'm not going anywhere." I panted.

I stood there as I watched Ari undress. Goddess, she was the most beautiful creature I'd ever laid eyes on. I could feel myself grow hard as my Lycan panted and begged to be released. I held him back. This was too important for her to ruin it. Ari began to shift into her Lycan form. Suddenly a bright light surrounded her and she was lifted from the balcony. I couldn't believe my eyes. I had never seen or heard of anything like this before.

After a few minutes, Ari was lowered back to the balcony and when the light extinguished she was in her human form once more. I watched as she picked up her dress and slid it back up her beautiful body. That's when Ari turned around. At that moment our eyes locked and we were brought to our knees by the most intense feeling of love. It both hurt but was amazing as well. I would do anything for this woman. I would protect her even before I would my alpha. I would go to the ends of the earth and back for her.

When I was finally able I stood and lifted Aria into my arms. I took her chin in my hands and pressed my lips to hers. It was the deepest most passionate kiss I'd ever shared with a woman. Her lips taste like heaven and her moans sent my Lycan into a frenzy.

Finally, I was able to gather the strength to pull away. My Lycan growled in protest. Goddess" Ari whispered. "Aria if you don't walk back into the ballroom right now I'm not going to be able to control myself and I'm going to take u right here on this balcony," I growled. "I'm not going anywhere." she panted.

That was all it took. My Lycan howled in delight as I lift her dress and wrapped her legs around me. I sat her carefully on the railing of the balcony and kissed her with as much passion as I could muster. I was already throbbing inside of my pants.
