8 It was for the best, really. Until I learned more about my powers and how to control them, I shouldn’t be dating. Probably. I should ask Olive about that. But now that I’d thought about the possibility of kissing Sam and having a vision of him with another woman, I couldn’t shake it. How would I avoid that? I didn’t know how to turn the visions off. I barely knew how to turn them on. My efforts to get objects to speak to me worked about thirty percent of the time.
