Chapter Sixteen All squadrons participated in simulator drills the next morning and Byron received permission for unlimited access. He ran through the program a dozen times, memorizing the schematics of the enemy ship’s air vent. He experienced several close calls during the first run but performed his mission without flaw on subsequent attempts. There were variables the computer could not predict, though.
