AMELIA’s POV
I frowned, stepping forward cautiously. The light above the bathtub flickered, casting shadows. My gaze landed on the tub, and I froze.
The decaying body of a young woman lay stiff in the bathtub, her lifeless eyes staring at nothing. Her dark hair clutched the sides of her face. The tub wasn’t just filled with water, it was filled with dark blood.
I stumbled back, gripping the door handle as bile rushed up to my throat. My heart beat increased, and I felt like I would pass out at any moment. I wanted to scream, but it was like my throat was blocked.
‘Run girl run! The killer might be nearby!’ The voice in my head screamed. Finally regaining myself, I dashed out of the bathroom with the speed of lightning. I ran straight to Charles' room, which was just at the corner.
