TALON’s POV
The level of betrayal the Council members had shown me wasn't enough; Charles decided to meet up with Amelia in secret again. After everything they had done? After they both left me in this pack all alone, by myself. I thought as I kept pacing around my room.
“You should have just killed him!” A part of me said, my wolf suddenly growled, making some noise.
I couldn't stop thinking what Amelia would have thought of me, after witnessing how I almost had Charles killed.
The flashes of seeing them both kept replaying in my head, just like I was being controlled by a remote. I bit on my lower lips– I do that whenever I'm dying of nervousness.
A part of me wanted to call Amelia to my chamber and explain everything to her, while the other side of me was nonchalant
