“He will be alright, won’t he?” Tally turned tearful eyes on the stranger. It was then she noticed the person beside her who had been supporting her this whole time was a female paramedic. Tally finally allowed her to lead her to the back of another ambulance, positioned farther back than the one that had taken Ryan. Tally looked down the road where the ambulance carrying Ryan had gone. “I can’t tell you, honey. I was with you the whole time. I can’t tell you anything about his condition. That’s for the doctors at the hospital to determine. But we’re doing everything we can to give him the best chance,” the female paramedic reassured Tally. Another paramedic joined them.
