Chapter 19 - The Wolf Who Ran
“He's coming for the red wolf.”
For several seconds, those six words were the only thing I could hear.
Not the engine. Not the emergency sirens echoing through the mountains. Not even Cole demanding another update from the northern patrol.
Me.
Whoever Alpha Darius Voss was, apparently he'd decided we needed to meet.
Wonderful.
I'd been a Luna for approximately five minutes, discovered I could heal people yesterday, and already had a mysterious Alpha hunting me.
My schedule was getting ridiculous.
We should bite him, Ruby suggested.
We don't even know who he is.
Then we should find out. And bite him.
At least one of us had a plan.
