Heaven. That’s what Xander’s shower felt like. Pure heaven. The water sprayed out from the top and the sides. There was mood lighting and a steam option. Jade let out a loud sigh as she turned the water pressure up. She lost track of space and time as she let the water wash away some of the bad memories from earlier. She washed her hair and her body with the luxurious products, they all smelled amazing. She shut off the water and stepped out feeling like a new woman.
After she’d dried off and put lotion on, she gently combed through her hair. Jade reached for the clothes Xander gave her and had to stifle a laugh. These were Xander’s clothes and they were huge, just like him.
Jade didn’t have underwear, only her wet swimsuit so she made an executive decision and went without. She pulled on the black short sleeve shirt Xander had given her, it hung past her knees. Although the shirt did nothing to hide the fact that her full breasts weren’t strapped down by a bra. She put on the shorts and tied the drawstring as tight as she could.
When she stepped out of the bathroom tentatively, the bedroom looked empty. She called out to Xander but there was no response. Someone had turned on the fireplace so she sat down in the leather chair and grabbed the blanket off the back of it and wrapped it around herself. She curled up and watched the flames, waiting for Xander to come back.
Xander left Jade in his room and headed back to the parking garage to find his phone. Before he got to the kitchen, he could hear Monica’s voice from outside. She was pissed.
He stepped into the kitchen to see Eric and Max sitting at the table, they were going over plans for the next Alpha council. Monica burst through the kitchen door and stomped over to Xander.
“You better have a good explanation, Xander,” She growled.
“Monica, please calm down. I’ll explain,” Xander responded.
“Don’t you dare tell me to calm down!” She shouted. “You ditched me, and left me with that asshole friend of yours.”
Just then Kyle walked in. He look disheveled, no doubt Monica had given him a hard time. He stood by the doorway.
“I brought your girlfriend, now where’s my sister?” Kyle asked.
“You were with his f*cking sister!” Monica thundered.
Eric snickered. Max sat back in his chair with an amused look on his face. Xander stepped back from Monica and took a deep breath.
Let me teach them some respect Ares barked in Xander’s mind. Xander’s eyes shifted black and the room filled with his powerful Alpha aura. When he spoke again, his voice was deeper and the other werewolves in the room stood frozen, unable to move or speak.
“Kyle ditched Jade, his little sister, in that cesspool. I went looking for her. When I found her, two mother f*ckers we’re about to r*pe her. I barely got there in time.”
Max stood up so fast his chair was knocked over. “Tell me you killed them. Tell me you torn them to pieces,” he gritted out, breaking out of Xander’s alpha hold.
“No, I knocked them out and got Jade out of there. She was in shock. She fainted in my arms. I brought her here because she didn’t want to go home. Kyle here can fill you all in on exactly why that is,” Xander’s chest was rising and falling as he fought to keep Ares back.
Max slammed his fist into the table before storming out of the room.
Xander pulled back his aura, but the room remain silent for a few moments. Monica’s anger slowly ebbed away. She turned to Xander, “Where is she? I want to talk to her.” Monica was a hothead, but she was also a good person. Xander didn’t hesitate to answer.
“My room,” Xander was surprised when Monica didn’t react to that news, she just nodded her head and walked past Xander.
“Eric, I think you and I need to have a chat with Kyle,” Xander said in a low voice.
Kyle paled. He kept his head down as he walked in and picked up the chair Max had discarded before sitting down across from Eric. He kept his eyes down. He’d not spoken a word since Xander explained what happened to Jade.

Jade woke up to an attractive woman gently shaking her knee. She was so disoriented by her unfamiliar surroundings that it took a second to realize where she was.
“Hi Jade,” The woman said in a friendly voice. “I’m Monica, Xander’s girlfriend.” Jade sat up. She could only imagine what Monica must be thinking. How mad she must be to find her here in Xander’s room.
Monica was still crouched down close to Jade. She spoke softly to her, “Xander told me what happened. Jade, I’m really sorry you went through that.”
Jade was shocked for a minute before she felt embarrassment wash over her. She didn’t want people to know. It made her feel ashamed. She felt the blanket drop off her shoulders a bit. Monica eyed what Jade was wearing and shook her head, with a smile on her face.
“Did Xander give you his clothes to change into? What a knucklehead. Can I get you something that will fit a little better?” Jade felt her eyes water. This woman was being so kind to her. She suddenly felt insanely guilty for asking Xander to kiss her. Not that she knew he had a girlfriend at the time. Jade dropped out of the chair and wrapped her arms around Monica.
Monica stiffened before wrapping her arms tightly around Jade.
“Thank you for being so nice to me,” Jade admitted softly.
“Of course, hun. How about you let me help you get ready and I’ll have the useless boys downstairs order us some yummy food? You and I can curl up and watch a funny movie. Or we can just talk and cry. How does that sound?”
“That sounds amazing,” Jade responded. “Thank you, Monica.”
“You don’t need to thank me, Jade. You just need to tell me what your favorite food is,” Monica chuckled. Jade thought about it a minute.
“I’d loved some Italian,” Jade said quietly.
“Italian it is!” Monica said as she stood up holding her hand out to Jade. Monica led her into Xander’s closet, which was larger than Jade's bedroom. Monica pulled out a Victoria’s Secret bag from one of the shelves.
“I can’t tell with that tent of a shirt you’re wearing if these will fit you, but I just bought this set a few days ago. It’s still got the tags on it. You’re welcome to keep it.” She handed the bag to Jade. It had a white lacy bra and matching thong. Jade gulped. She’d never worn underwear like this, and only owed sports bras.
Monica giggled at her, “I’m guessing you’ve never worn lingerie?”
Jade laughed under her breath, “Am I that obvious? Yeah, I’ve never had a boyfriend or even gone on a date, so I just never thought to buy underwear like this.”
“You’ve never been on a date?! But, you’re gorgeous… like get any guy you wanted gorgeous. Girl, we need to break you out of your shell,” She gave Jade a mischievous grin.
“Okay, Jade. I’ve got lots of pajama sets you could borrow. Or we could play dress-up. What do you say?” Monica wiggled her eyebrows. Jade couldn’t help but laugh a little.
“Dress up?” Jade answered, feeling unsure.
Monica clapped her hands excitedly then she walked over and started sifting through some dresses. “Perfect!” She chimed as she pulled out a dark green dress and handed it to Jade.
“Let’s see how this looks.” She walked past Jade and out of the closet shutting the door. Jade pulled out the bra and thong first. She carefully took off the tags and pulled the thong on. It felt a little strange but when she turned around and checked her butt out in the full length mirror she couldn’t deny that the white lace looked very sexy against her golden skin.
She put on the bra next. It was a front-closure push-up bra. Jade’s full breasts were spilling out of it. She picked up the dark green dress Monica had handed her and stepped into it. It was by far the tightest thing she had ever worn. The dress only went to her midthigh. The sleeves were fitted and went down to her elbows and the neckline was low. Jade laughed to herself when she thought about how short it must be on Monica who was several inches taller than her.
She pulled her still damp hair to the side and braided it, before stepping out of the closet. Monica was sitting on the bed in her short red dress, with her legs crossed. She looked up as soon as Jade stepped out.
“Oh my gosh girl, you look so sexy! Do you love the dress?”
“Yes, thank you for letting me wear it,” Jade said looking down at the ground.
“Of course. We need to work on that confidence though,” Monica said with her eyebrows furrowed. Jade looked up at Monica and nodded her head slightly in agreement.
“Do you mind zipping me up?” Jade asked turning around. Monica zipped the dress and then grabbed Jade’s braid running her hands down it.
“Xander ordered from Asiagos. I told him to just order a variety of item from the menu. Can I dry your hair while we wait for the food to get here?”
“Sure, if you want to,” Jade answered. Jade followed Monica back to the bathroom and sat down at the vanity. Monica undid her braid while she chatted about her life. She told Jade how she and Xander had been dating for 6 months now, how they met. She put different products in Jade’s hair that all smelled wonderful, then she blew it dry with a round brush.
Xander’s a lucky guy Jade thought. She couldn’t help but love Monica. She was cool and confident. Jade had known Xander for 7 years and he’d never had a girlfriend. She felt a stabbing pain in her heart when she realized she would have to smother her feelings for Xander.
Monica turned off the blow dryer. “You okay, hun?” She asked concerned.
“Yeah, I’m fine,” Jade smiled at her.
