It’s been a week since them Whitercolls got here. There are 7 of them: Melvin (the grandfather), William and Susan (mom and dad), Malachi (the 1st child), Raymond (the 2nd), Chelsea (3rd) and Serafina (4th). I cook breakfast, lunch and dinner for ‘em everyday, I clean up after ‘em (very minimal mess to pick up each round, fortunately), I wash their dishes for ‘em and made sure they do no harm to me property, crops or animals. And whenever I cook for them I made sure not to add or use anything that’s non-halal because Malachi is a Muslim. I had to single-handedly drag out 2 bags of bacon and excess sugar (not non-halal but laddie’s on a diet too) from me kitchen to the pantry and lock ‘em up in there. It puzzles me as to why a Christian family would have one of their own as Muslim. Well, at least they are accepting to him, I guess. And my house is still standing and unburned. Good. So far so good.
