“But you don’t have to go now. We still have plenty of time,” I reason.
“Are you sure? Won’t extracting bone marrow and completing the virus take some time?” he asks. “By the way, why do we still need the hive if we’ve got this weapon cooking up?”
“Once it’s launched, the virus will take some time to spread. The hive is a safety precaution that we can stay in while the virus is working its way. Besides, there’s another added element that’ll make the vampires wanna move in.”
