23 EMERALD LAKE Chelsea studied the shelves of food in the fridge. “I’m starving. How about you? I’ve got leftovers in the fridge from yesterday’s roast beef dinner. I can make up two plates and reheat in the microwave.” “Perfect,” Chaz said. They had driven directly back from Kelowna after visiting Wenner and had just arrived at the cottage. She gathered the food containers and reached for a couple of plates. “While you do that, I’ll look up the resort and book a cabin.” Chelsea put her utensils down and studied Chaz.
