22 Sydney drove down the main street of Stoney Creek. It had been two weeks since her Nan's accident. They had returned to Kelowna yesterday to see her Nan's doctor. The ankle was healing but not as fast as the doctor liked. The break has been a bad one. He suggested she stay off of it for a few more weeks and come back for a walking cast. He allowed that she could walk with crutches as long as no weight was put on the foot. The smoke in the valley came and went. They had good days and bad days. Today was a good one.
