Strange New Creature.

Silver's P.O.V: It was well past six o'clock in the evening when Hal and Zachariah stood in the upper room in the dome of the Palace, where there were nine medium-sized television screens, lined up next to each other on the wall opposite the door, and three of them on a long and wide table on which lay some keyboards and computers for operating these screens. On each screen, there was a different view of the forest and surroundings of the Pack Palace, where the high-tech surveillance cameras that Hal bought some years ago from the land of humans are stationed. These humans have super brains with regard to advanced technology and devices. I always wished I was one of them. At least, I wouldn't feel INFERIOR for being a Werewolf in name only. I didn't shift, and I don't have a Werewolf, like the rest of the Pack and even my parents. I regained my full concentration, awoke from my wanderings with those sorrows that continued to engulf me, to the sound of a fearful snarling that came from... that came from Hal? Moon! It's the first time in my life I've seen Hal's terrifying features and the first time I've heard him growl. I mean, I know that Hal's Wolf is very strong; he is the Alpha in the end, but Hal is naturally calm all the time, even in times that call for anger; he has always faced all his matters and the matters of the Pack calmly and wisely, and this is what made him the strongest Alpha that has led the Pack so far, according to the testimony of the senior Wolves in the Pack. He was even better at leadership than his Alpha father. What made his features this way was that his enlarged eyes took on a light yellow color that was not his but that of his Wolf, and his jaw clenched convulsively, expressing how strongly he pressed his teeth together, not to mention the frightening snarl that continued to appear from him. This prompted me to quickly look at one of the monitor screens. Then Zach grabbed the mouse and started clicking on some options on the screen showing that time when I lost consciousness, so I gasped in shock when I saw that strange Wolf with black fur disappearing, and as soon as I lost consciousness and my body fell to the ground, he disappeared as if he had never appeared; he evaporated into thin air completely. I rolled my eyes with curiosity, and, still in shock, I looked at Zach too. Goddess! Zach's features were no less angry and terrified than Hal's, perhaps even more so, with his pupils turning a deep red and many blue veins throbbing violently in different parts of his face, apart from the muscles in his arms and shoulders, which swelled suddenly, prompting me to take a step back. Dammit! Why did I come up here with them? I hope neither one of them will lose his temper and kill me in his anger, and by one of them I mean Zachariah, of course. I swallowed my saliva cautiously, looking at Zach, who exclaimed in astonishment and in a strong tone, expressing the extent of anger and shock inside him: "Oh my Goddess! What is this thing? How did he disappear?" I heard a long, warm sigh coming out of Hal's mouth, and I continued to watch his features with some amazement at how they went from frightful fury to complete calm in an instant while answering his brother, "I really don't know; I've never seen such a miracle in my life." "He might be a HYBRID, but which Werewolf would accept a company other than his own kind?" Zach replied in the same angry tone. Hal let out another sigh, longer than the previous one, as he nodded in agreement: "Your point is correct.. except we have to catch this thing to know what it is." Hal's words were the end of the discussion between him and his brother, and, of course, they both walked out of the observation room without paying any attention to me, except that I felt a strange shiver run down my spine as soon as a quick glance from Zachariah landed on me, scanning my entire body before disappearing out of the room out of my sight. I sighed hard, trying to calm myself and keep those stupid thoughts out of my head. He must have looked at me that way only because he hates me as much as I hate him, and he always tries to make me feel uncomfortable. Fu-ck him. I wish he would find his mate in the farthest Werewolf land in the world and be forced to leave the Pack and go to her there when she refuses to come to our Pack. I breathed a sigh of relief and went back to my suite on the second floor, more exhausted than before. I don't know why I'm so weak. I passed out without that strange Black Wolf even touching me. Why am I so weak, Goddess? I sat on my bed holding in my hand one of the stories I had read before, but it seems that I will re-read my books so that I can go out and buy more, and I think that this won't happen soon as long as that jerk Zachariah is charged with protecting me and watching me wherever I go. I mean, damn it, wasn't it enough for him to yell at me every time he saw me in his line of sight, and then Hal would come and give him an unquestioned Alpha order to watch over me the whole time to protect me? Screw my ugly life. Hal has been quarreling with stupid Christopher and that bastard, Zachariah, in my ear for half an hour because Christopher doesn't want to accompany me to protect me, and from Zachariah's threatening looks at him, it seems that Zachariah wants to be my ONLY companion so that he can bully me at his convenience and as he wants without Christopher hindering him from that. I passed my hand over my hair spontaneously, and then I picked up a leaf that had been stuck to my locks all that time. I sighed narrowly and headed to take a shower in the bathtub of this large and comfortable suite, but this time it wasn't comfortable at all because of my exaggerated thoughts about everything that happens to me in my life, starting with my weakness and abnormality about the Pack and even what Zach would do to me, and Hal gave him more room to harass and bully me. That is why I quickly got out of the bathtub, dried my body with a large white towel, then put on my white underwear as usual and over it a pair of sky-colored jeans, torn a little from the knees, as I see in modern human fashion, and then I stood in front of the small mirror in the bathroom, looking at the wide black shirt in my hands for a long time. But I took a deep breath and decided to change my old style; I mean, I'm a teenager after all. What's the harm in having fun with modern teenage clothes and enjoying my age too? I rummaged through my wardrobe until I found a white crop top. I smiled, remembering the time I went shopping like any teenager of my age with Hemera, one of the Pack teenagers who was almost a friend of mine before she found her mate in another Pack by chance and went with him. Hemera was trying hard to convince me to buy this crop top, but I was not used to wearing clothes that revealed my body, but in the end, she was able to make me buy it with the money that Hal gave me at the time for shopping. I put on a crop top and looked at myself in the mirror; my arms and stomach were exposed beyond the navel, but I saw myself as beautiful and perhaps sexy in it for the first time, so I smiled and started combing my hair into a French braid when I heard a knock on the door. My heart suddenly contracted in a strange way, but I breathed hard and allowed the knocker to enter. Then, Mrs. Natalia, a woman in her fifties who lost her mate in the previous war with the Witches, decided to volunteer to be responsible for cooking for the Pack members who live in this Palace, from the Alpha family, the Beta family, the ministers' families, and.. me. I smiled lovingly at her; she is very affectionate and has always treated me like the daughter she never had, so I greeted her with a side hug. She gave me a giggle and placed a small tray of food she had brought me on my desk. Since I missed lunch and dinner, I certainly won't be left with an empty stomach. Mrs. Natalia turned around after placing the tray on my desk, looking at what I was wearing, and I found her eyes shining like a teenager while complimenting me: "You look very beautiful, my little girl. It's the first time you have worn something like that." "Does it really fit me? I mean, isn't it a bit too much?" I asked shyly as I continued to style my hair in front of the mirror, but she smiled broadly and came closer as she tenderly braided my hair to answer me: "Nonsense, you look as beautiful as those girls in human movies." I giggled at her response, and I continued to talk to her for a bit until she finished braiding my hair and left the room after she praised me again, so I started eating what she brought, but I didn't eat much because I already have a small stomach. As soon as I finished eating, I left the room, carrying the tray on my way to the kitchen to put it in. I also decided to go to the doctor again because of that stupid headache that hasn't left my head since I regained consciousness. But as soon as I opened the door of my suite, I found Zachariah's back facing me. He turned quickly towards me as soon as he sensed my presence, with angry features ready to harass me, but he suddenly closed his mouth and removed the distress from his features, which took on a sudden coldness, and his eyes began to look at what I was wearing until his pupils stopped on my bare stomach, so his looks turned BLACK in a way that made a deep shiver run along my spine. My heart began to throb, as if it wanted to escape from behind my ribs. I swallowed my saliva when his strange looks at me prolonged. I felt the coldness of his features, and my body cooled until my legs started shaking like jelly. What is this weird feeling that keeps coming over me every time Zach looks at me that way? Why... why do I like his looks? "What the fu-ck are you wearing? Take off those disgusting clothes and don't try to look like a teenage girl again; you're just a normal girl who doesn't fit in such clothes. Then what are you trying to prove by wearing such shi-t? Do you want to catch the Pack males' eyes on you? Disgusting!" Ouch! I struggled with strong, hot tears that burned my eyes so as not to sob in front of him; he's so cruel. How does he say such words to me? Even if he hates me, I am a creature like him. I have feelings, and I can feel sadness too. He went too far. I flinched, swallowing my saliva after I was able to feel a tear that I couldn't hold back falling from my right eye, when Zach approached me until his burning breath became on the skin of my face, increasing the temperature of my body more. Then he took the tray of food from my hands with force and gave me his back again, saying sternly, and I saw his back rise and fall like an evidence of the strength of his breath already: "You won't come out of this room unless necessary. Hal has assigned me to protect you, but I am not free to babysit a reckless and stupid child like you. And change this sh-it you wear." "I hate you." I shouted at the top of my lungs. I am sure that my screams reached the ears of everyone in the Palace, then I closed the door forcefully, hiding his body from my eyes. I didn't wait until waterfalls of burning tears began to fall from my eyes. I fell backward with two feet. I could barely stand on until I hit the edge of my bed, and I fell down on the edge of it, weeping for my stupid heart, which had allowed itself to rage for a moment in the face of the looks of this cruel bastard, and for my mind, which thought of it with feelings other than extreme hate for a moment. He is a jerk, arrogant, foolish, and cruel in his heart and actions. I hate him. I hate him to death. How dare he call me such hideous attributes? I'm not that ugly, so what's wrong with my clothes? I am a teenager, and this is how teenage girls dress proudly and enjoy their bodies. How dare he call me disgusting and call what I wear dirty? Some of the females of the Pack dress worse than I do, and no one dares look at them in such an insolent manner or forbid them to wear whatever they like. Why me? Why did this bastard treat me this way? If he finds me ugly and my clothes so disgusting, why doesn't he keep his opinion to himself? How does he tell me these things to my face? I am a girl, and it would certainly make me sad if someone saw me as ugly and nasty, especially this bastard who tells me such things directly to my face. I swallowed my saliva, drying my tears with my fingertips, and breathing deeply with consecutive inhalations and exhalations to stop crying. Then I looked at my reflection in the mirror of the dressing table opposite the bed, frowning, until my features of anger intensified and I got up from the bed forcefully. I'm not the one that treats me this way and shuts up; enough crying every time because of this idi-ot Silver! Enough weakness! I won't change my clothes; I'll go out with them and walk about the Palace as I like. Maybe tomorrow I'll go shopping with Hal's permission, and I'll buy whatever I want and fit, and if that bastard finds me disgusting, that's his problem, not mine. You will see Zach! You will see how I will take revenge on you! How I will make you allergic! I searched the dresser drawers for my perfume, which I knew this bastard was allergic to, so I could put more on before I went out and maybe he choked on the smell and I could get rid of his arrogance, selfishness, and cruelty forever, but I didn't find any trace of the perfume bottle, so I knitted my eyebrows and scattered everything in the drawers of my dressing table and my wardrobe, as well as the drawers of my desk, to search, but I didn't find it. What? Did that as-shole take it? I will kill him; I swear I will kill him. I slammed my fist on my desk hard, and it seemed that my only way to take revenge on Zachariah the villain had been lost, so I sniffed my nose, surrendering to reality, and headed to the door again, opening it forcefully, ready to go out when I didn't find him in front of the door, but I was no sooner taking a step on the stairs until I felt his strong hand gripping my wrist. He slammed my wrist violently, after which I felt my wrist bones had already shattered. He asked me in an almost squeaky tone, "What the fu-ck, you idi-ot? Why didn't you change this sh-it? Where are you going?" I turned my whole body around to face him. He was really angry; the veins in his forehead began to bulge violently and his eyes took on a sharp yellow color while he pressed his lips together with a force that showed the spasm of his jaw, and his hand almost took off my wrist from my arm, causing me severe pain. But I didn't show my pain in my face; I told myself inside my suite that I wouldn't be weak before him anymore; I had to put an end to this shameless bastard's doings to me, and it's time to put an end to them. . . . . . .
