CHAPTER TWELVE: RISHA

y heart thundered
in my chest, and I slowly slid my coat from my shoulders and into William’s waiting hands. Goosebumps rose on my arms and across my chest from the warm air heavy with conversation, but I blocked it out. Nerves tingled my fingers and nibbled at my gut, my lungs taking in shallow breaths from the tension zinging through me. Carefully pulling a few curls from around my ear, William pressed against my bare back to brush his lips along my crest.
“Don’t forget- your clothes are in my car, baby girl.” Nodding curtly, I could already feel eyes on me, scanning and searching. When William asked me to do a demonstration with him, I wasn’t expecting the crowd that I would be in front of. The house was packed, and he wrapped his hand around my waist to care
