I stood there looking stunned after hearing what Luca had said, I could not believe he would say something like that, considering his personality.
Not that I fancy him, or was I interested in having anything intimate with him, but the way he sounded unbothered about the whole thing was what I found confusing.
"Why agree to push through with the wedding if he had no intentions of accepting me as his mate and wife? Why tie us both in this sham of a marriage?" I asked myself, but I could not think of any possible reason.
"Why are you trying so hard to understand him, Aurora? This is for the best if you ask me. Eva said.
