Aurora's POV
I followed Liam and he took me to his private study, I didn't know what he was going to say but I knew whatever it was, it needed to be in a private area.
When we got in, I stood close to the reading table, placing my hands on it for balance, my heart racing like a drum.
I didn't know how to feel at that moment but one thing was for sure, I wasn't going to fall for any of his lies and deceit, he led me on and made me believe we had a chance knowing very well that he was already betrode to someone else.
We both stood there staring at each other, it was almost like he was waiting for me to make the first move, but I didn't say anything, His eyes were boring into my soul, he stared so deeply that it made my heart beat so fast.
