Carl turned to Velicia, as if asking for a go-ahead sign. He wanted to be sure his mate would approve of this before agreeing to her request.
Velicia looked between the both of them, leaned into her chair and sighed without saying a word. She honestly didn't know why she was bothering herself with his life. It was none of her business anyway.
Carl took that reaction as refusal. He turned back to Priscilla with a neutral expression on his face. “As you can see I am with someone-”
