VELICIA'S POV:
I couldn't believe my eyes. My father had been enemies with the Lycans even before now?
The paper showed that he had attacked the Lycans before, and that was what caused the destruction of my pack.
I also saw a reading that stated "killed" written with fresh ink beneath the paper. My heart sank. Kemper actually succeeded in killing him. Tears fell from my eyes.
So my father was deceitful all along?
Just then, I heard noise from the bathroom and figured that Kemper was done. I quickly put the paper back on the shelf and picked up the rag and kept cleaning.
How could this be? All this while I thought Kemper was the bad guy, but my father had actually attacked first? What gave him the right to attack him, while knowing his power?
