They began to leave the area, as they washed up, changing back into their casual outfit. Their wounds were already healing.
As Cole wore back his shirt, he winced at a pain in his neck. He checked what it was in the mirror and saw that it was the wound from the creature's bite back in the woods.
The two puncture marks where the fangs had pierced his skin were dark and inflamed.
It was still not healing quickly, which was unusual. It was supposed to have healed since in the woods. He frowned. These creatures were definitely some advanced species or something if their saliva could counteract his natural abilities.
