Dominic tossed me a suspicious glance, his blue eyes narrowed as if searching for hidden dangers. He reached behind me, and I flinched, my breath catching in my throat as he came closer.
I closed my eyes, bracing myself, fearing he would discover Flynn inside. But instead, I felt a tug at my scalp, a sharp pain as strands of hair were pulled free.
