Before he could reply, I saw the clearing in front of his mansion, come to view. He stopped a few feet away from the clearing and indicated me to get down.
He went behind a tree to get dressed, while I waited for him. My hands were sweating and my nerves were getting the best of me.
As he started heading towards the palace, I took long strides to match his pace. My face must have been contorted with nervousness, that he let out a throaty chuckle.
" It's going to be alright. You worry without reason."
A few meters away from the front gates, both of us halted. Something was wrong. It was quiet, eerily quiet. A light breeze blew towards us.
Blood
The whole place now reeked of blood. Fresh as well as stale blood.
Sebastian was gone for what, five days. What could happen in five days, to make the whole mansion reek of blood, so much blood. Surely some one would have mind linked Sebastian. Right?
We took hesitant steps toward the palace gates, only to our utter dismay to find it slightly ajar. I could feel Sebastian's nervousness, and a bit of fear, his own combined with mine. I could feel Caspian get agitated too.
I took his hand in mine and gave it a light squeeze to provide what little comfort I could.

A blood curdling scream pierced through the silence. It took me few moments to get over from the shock of the site in front of me, only to realize that the scream came from Sebastian.
All my life I had known that after a certain amount of time, royal werewolves stop aging, they are immortal, they cannot die. That's what we have been taught.
