CHAPTER 4

Katerina: I jumped onto a call with Madelyn the moment I got into my bedroom. She was a few hours behind me but she answered anyway having just got home from school. I showed her my bedroom and promised to send videos of the view before she started to ask questions about my moms side of the family. “They are lovely. Especially my aunt.” “And rich.” Madelyn said, smirking. My mouth popped open in amused shock, “Maddy, it's not all about money.” “But it helps. And? Do they have children?” She prompted. I laughed, “Three sons and Maddy, you’d die.” She gasped, her excitement tangible, “I want to see, tell me their names.” So I told her. Strangely, nothing came up about them on social media. “Who doesn't have i********: at our age?” Madelyn complained. “Wait, I saw photos of them in one of the lounges.” I said, leaping from my bed and sneaking out the door. I found the lounge and quickly took photos to send to her. “Kat, no! Stop, these guys are not real. How bloody lucky do you need to be?” “Eew Maddy, they are supposed to be my cousins.” I wrinkled my nose. “Girl, you’ve known them for like one day and you’re adopted.” She reminds me and yet it still seems weird that I find them so attractive but it was kinda hard not to. “Are they outrageously tall? They look tall and muscular.” She commented. “They are big, like giants but not steroids big, they are lean and sporty.” I said, struggling to explain. They certainly didn’t look like the boys had in my last school. “Jees, what were they feeding these guys on this island? They don’t make boys like that here.” Madelyn said, her eyes moving on the video call as she scrolled through the pictures. “Thats what I thought too.” I giggled, trying to keep my voice down in case someone was still around, although this house was so big... She laughed, “Anyway, I dibs Jordan!” “Bad news, he has a girlfriend.” She pulls a face, “Mountains can be moved." “Well I've met her. Emma. She's like a super model.” “No kidding…” She sighs, “Oh okay, yeah that makes sense, she's gorgeous, he’s gorgeous, I'm gonna starve myself for a month now.” Madelyn said, and we both laughed. We finally said our goodbyes before I started going back to my room with a kind of peace only my oldest friend could bring me. That's when he spoke. “You know who doesn't have a girlfriend,” I almost had a heart attack right then and there as I suddenly became aware of Jayden leaning against an open sliding door in the dark. “Me.” I think I stood there for what felt like an eternity with a look of shock on my face. How haven't I seen him? How haven’t I heard him coming? He walked into the light and my eyes betrayed me as they slid down to his naked chest and abs. “Does that shock you?” He smirked, raising a brow. “Were you listening to our conversation?” I asked, but it was more than obvious from his words that he had at least heard part of it. “Were you hoping I wouldn't, here in the lounge, with multiple doors from all parts of the house and garden?” He challenged, his presence overwhelming my senses. He made this massive lounge feel too small, too intimate. He was outrageously close now. So close, I had to bend my neck back to look at him so I decided that's close enough and stepped back in an effort to put some distance between us. He lifted an eyebrow but didn’t follow. “Right, you right. I'm sorry, we really meant no disrespect speaking like that.” I said, embarrassed and ashamed. Gosh what was wrong with me? His hand got out, ceasing mine and unfolding it to press it flat on his chest, “Be disrespectful.” He said, running my hand over his strong chest and defined stomach while I gaped like a fish out of water, "I'll show you something you can really go back and tell her about.” My face burned as he ran that hand down and over his pants. “If you want.” He breathed. I jerked it back, horrified when I realised how far this had gone so quickly. He used his hold still on my wrist to draw me closer, flush against him and his hard body while catching my chin and lifting it. My gaze lifted along with it, falling into those eerie green eyes before dropping to his full lips inches from mine. “Don’t have boys like me where you’re from, huh?” I could feel his lips brushing against mine as he spoke, teasing, promising. “Do you want a taste?” He asked, feathering over my lips. “I could give you one.” He offered, his voice dripping with seduction. When I stayed frozen, when I didn’t move away, he took that as sign enough. His lips were soft, testing his advantage, tasting his prize as he slid them over mine. His hand moved from my chin, wrapping gently around my neck as he slid the other around my waist to lift me up onto my tippytoes. My hands were on his body, half to support myself and half stuck between pushing him away and wanting to feel him. He slid that tongue of his over my lips, asking for entrance and when I didn’t open my mouth, he squeezed my throat just hard enough to make me gasp and allow him access. My senses were flooded as his hold moved from my waist to lift my leg and wrap it around his body, pressing his manhood right between my legs. I groaned and he swallowed it, ravishing my mouth to the point where I was fighting for air and that's right about when Jordan walked in. “What do we have here?” A male voice interrupted the haze of pleasure I had been riding. I pushed Jayden away, breathing hard and blushing profusely. Jordan looked far from amused as he folded his arms over his chest. His questions left little room to avoid or go unanswered. Jayden just tilted his head and grinned at his brother like he’d been told he had won a challenge. Jordan was dressed in baggy sweatpants minus a shirt - much like Jayden and the fact that I even noticed after what I’d just been caught doing made everything so much worse. “Oh my gosh, I-I I don’t even know what to say. I’m - Oh my word!” I covered my mouth with my hand. “You just got here.” Jordan eyes racked over my body, not in a good way but more in distaste. Jayden made a noise of annoyance, “That's a bit rude brother.” He said, casually shrugging his shoulders, “I instigated, of course.” “I don’t doubt that.” Jordan sneered in a patronizing voice. “Are you quite well? Or do you just simply not remember who she is and what she is doing here?” He demanded in a sarcastic tone, but Jayden just laughed like he didn’t give a s**t what his brother thought at all. I couldn't stay in that room a second longer, "I'm sorry, I'm just gonna go.” and I practically ran from the brothers and the mess I had somehow made in the short time I’d been here. I cried, hugging my pillow and missing my life until at some point I must have fallen asleep.
