D.S. Tony Ray decided since Maria was Crutchley’s daughter and recognising the fact that Marco had gone home it would not be wise to ask Maria to be a plant. He still wanted to put Crutchley and his minder Roberto behind bars but proving the guy was running a prostitution racket and beating up the girls would need some real solid evidence and since the girls would not speak out he would have to wait until the guy made a mistake, a mistake that would put him somewhere where he could not hurt the girls again.
