Satisfied they understood each other, she got to work. She phoned Timmy Joe with a description of the bank where he and Marc were headed. She ended that call to take one from the chief, informing her of the arrangements he’d made with his opposite number in Fort Stockton. During the next half hour, she and Gus hashed out their plan of attack. Dawna had a diagram of the Fort Stockton bank layout made for her by William, the museum researcher, who passed the branch daily on his way to work.
