Cade got off the call with Ophelia and knew he had limited time to wrap off what he was doing and get back home to pick her up for shopping. If they were to ask him why he was doing it he could not have a straight answer. He went back to the meeting room and sat down allowing the person who was giving a presentation to get done with it first before interrupting the meeting.
"I have to leave now" he said causing them all to gasp.
"Why?" the youngest on the team asked causing everyone to gasp even louder and throw him a dangerous look.
"Well, I have to meet with my wife" he said causing a swoon-worthy reaction from everyone around.
He was startled by the reaction and managed to get it out of there without feeling awkward about the situation. He signed documents and cleared his schedul
