I wore a dress made from fine sea flowers, and Istoviir wore a simple black pant, with no shirt, but instead a flowered sash to match mine that Maj had sent in the package. When we met Finn and Fisk at the water’s edge, they helped to put my hair up in seashells like the ladies of the court would have done, and tied Istoviir’s hair back tightly, and wrapped it in sea vines. They themselves had matching silvery blue-scaled tails, and very dark blue hair and eyes. The scales that covered their arms, were a silvery color as well, and the light when at the surface blinded sailors, allowing the mer-people to remain unseen.
