Blue went home two days later, after he had smoothed things over with Istoviir, and then Istoviir and I had my house all to ourselves. We had many picnics together at sunset, laughing and cuddling together surrounded by wild flowers as the sky was set on fire. We went night swimming together every evening, and walked home by the light of the moon. This was our time, something that had been scarce upon his arrival in Niro. He was so romantic, and would spoil me any chance he got. He ran me hot baths every night, filled with fragrant flower petals and oils. One of his favorite things to do was brushing jasmine oil through my hair in the bath, and holding me close to him as he rinsed the bubbles from my skin.
