He found his apartment hot and stuffy; he had turned up the thermostat too high this morning before he had left. Now he turned it down slightly. Then he unrolled his poster in his bedroom and looked around for a place to hang it. As he held it, the bottom edge curled up again from being rolled. He used masking tape to stick the top edge of the poster to the mirrored sliding door to his closet. After gravity pulled the curl out again, he would decide where to put it permanently.
It was still early. He walked back out to the living room and picked up the remote control. Clicking on the TV, he walked to the kitchen and took a beer out of the refrigerator. Then he collapsed on the couch and started moving through the channels, looking for something to watch.
