It was seven in the evening when Brianna arrived at Outer Heaven Nightclub. The night sky was aglow with bright city lights as she walked towards the entrance, but a security guard stopped her from entering the establishment.
When she showed the calling card with Jake Rivers' name on it, he made a phone call to Howie, Jake's father and the owner of the club.
"May I have your name, please?" the guard asked her.
