CHAPTER ELEVEN The rest of the group departed and went for coffee; Larry had to report to his parole officer. Glenn and Clair were left alone. “You did an excellent job today.” Somewhat sniffly, nodded and said, “Yeah, it was a blast. When can we do that again?” Glenn could tell that she was still upset. He reached into another drawer and pulled out a bottled water. “You want one?” “Sure.” He got another one and twisted the cap enough to break the seal and handed it to her. “Thanks. I need a stiff H2O.” Clair lifted the bottle and gave a toast. “Cheers,” then took a long drink of the water.
