Donald Davenport is an accomplished sailor, having lived on his 30’ sloop, Seeker, for nearly ten years. He is a pilot, and it was on a flight to Baja that he discovered the magic and charm of one particular fishing village that was to become the model for Bahia del Cangrejo. He is also a screenwriter and filmmaker who has traveled extensively through Asia and Europe, and once, while living in Paris, had the opportunity to meet a very famous French explorer and filmmaker whose concern for the people and animals of this planet left an indelible mark.
