There was no sense in what she did yet she did it anyways.
Now she walked home frantically under the pouring rain, angry she had wasted time trying to pick mushrooms for dinner that night .
She had no mushrooms and worse still she might have successfully chased off the one important friend she had that might have been genuinely interested in her .
Why did she scamper away from his touch at the slightest chance she got ? Why flee the comforts of his hands that had caressed her face and his warm hands that had made her heart beat faster that she feared all she had left was a tattered piece of flesh torn to shred.
Jason made her feel differently, and she had lied about her true feelings. She had hidden her true feelings in a facade and shown him only the side she wanted him to see.
