The twins were lying in the basinet sleeping as I stood and looked down on them.
“Shouldn’t you be sleeping?” Chase said as he walked in and kissed my cheek.
“I couldn’t. They are so perfect. I can’t believe they are mine.”

“I didn’t feel excited about being pregnant. Almost like it wasn’t real. I kept thinking I should be like other moms and get excited, but I didn’t. Until right now. Now it’s real and they are amazing.”
