Demon Vs Dragon

It's been roughly 3 hrs since I started converting the high tier essence to normal essence.

Niceuuuu!

It is enough to get two skills at most. I didn't hope for much but I was hoping for it to be much higher than 5000. Since 1% is 5000 essence then all the essence available here is about  500000??? Damn what a huge waste!

I have not realised it before but once I looked into the skills section again, I can't decide which skills to choose.

One way is to take the Biokinesis which cost 4000 essences since I don't even need to injure the dragon's exterior and directly caused harm to its internal organs. But can it really do enough damage to kill it? most likely not.

The other way is to take poison generation and amplify which cost 1000 and 1500 essence each. I can strengthen myself to penetrate the dragon's thick hide and apply poison to my claws to slowly kill it. but there is also one problem here, I don't think the poison will be close to strong enough to kill the dragon.

I am currently in a dilemma.

If only I knew how long the dragon's evolution will take, I would have more time to decide. But I do not know that and I can't risk anything here. One wrong move may be the end of me.

The dragon is still in its deep slumber as it continued absorbing the nearby essence, I look at its status once again.

This made me gave a new idea. Can I spam the analysis on the Dragon and level up it up so that I can see more on the status?

It's worth a try after all. If it works this could be a game-changer for me.

After a few several tries, I confirmed that I cannot gain skill Exp from repeating the skill, at least analyze will not level up from using it on the same monster over and over again.

Everything I had in mind always ends up disappointing.

Sigh, is this it? was there really no hope for me at all from the moment I started.

Whatever it doesn't matter, giving up without a fight does not suit me at all. A mere dragon cannot stop me from my Supremacy!

On a whim, I bought amplify and poison generation. I wasn't thinking of risk or the outcome anymore.

All I had in mind was to do just do it without hesitating. You don't know the outcome without trying!

As soon as I got the skills, I received information on how to use them from the system.

Immediately I applied to amplify on my claws and charged towards the dragon

Shouting before attacking wasn't that wise or useful but I did it anyway. I needed something to stop me from hesitating.

Like before the dragon ignored my whole presentation, which made me angrier for no reason.

I watched as my claws dig into its hide for the first time as a small wound appears on its thick hide.

As soon as I saw the small amount of blood leaking it which still didn't awaken the dragon, I activated poison generation as I coated my claws with poison and attacked the same area again.

Swoosh!

I could see the green colour poison mixing with the blood of the dragon but it didn't relieve me.

I had to make sure that it worked. My goal was to kill the damn dragon not injure it.

Lashing out again and again at the same point the small wound got deeper and bigger. But it still was considered small for a dragon double the size of me.

But it was progressing. I couldn't even hurt it before. Now I actually manage to hurt to a certain extend.

After several minutes, the dragon finally showed some signs of waking up. I instantly went back as far as I could and saw the dragon's eyes directly on me.

Urghhh!.. I forgot the pressure emitted by a high tier monster could hurt a much lower tier monster. Natural selection or a natural fear of the strong. Runs in every monster, even though I am human, I currently possess a monster body.

Even with a human's body, I doubted if I could handle this pressure, hell I could even be in a worse state than I am in right now with my original body.

Urgh, I throw up. But all the dragon did was to release its aura on me to pressure me. it did not move an inch.

A few minutes later it closed its eyes. Maybe because his evolution is happening right now. He cannot focus on other stuff while evolving? Just like how I lost my consciousness when I was about to evolve?

!!!!

I calmed myself down as I rested for a while, facing a dragon's aura directly was not too much for a body like mine. Even if it is a newborn, it still is a full-fledged dragon.

But I won't give up, I had a hunch that the dragon cannot currently move its body while evolving. I was sure of it. I also experienced it before. I didn't waste time as once again attack the wound using amplify and applying poison.

Combat skills can level up even if used against the same monster, the reason why analyze can't level up is that it is not a combat skill.

This?? Isn't this the perfect time to level up my skills???

I forgot I still have a stat point left. I should remember such things from now properly. I added it to strength immediately as my attack reached 28.

I realised I only have 3 combat skills and I was only using two when I was attacking the dragon.

This time I will stack all three! Hmm, I was also wondering why I didn't run out of mana when I was using the skills repeatedly maybe I have a high mana regen?

Not likely since I don't see any mana regen stat on my status. Since I haven't unlocked it, it means I probably haven't acquired it.

Wait does amplify and poison generation, not cost any mana?

Amplify(Elite)- The user's next attack will be amplified making it deal more damage. The lowest damage amplifier scale is 2.0 scaling to 4.0

Poison generation( R) -User can generate, create, emit, or otherwise produce a highly deadly poison/poisonous substance. The host is not immune to its own poison. Able to kill beings one rank above the skill.

The skills definitely got way stronger after ranking up but I don't see any reason why my mana didn't run.

I will think about this later. First, we kill this damn Dragon!

I applied both enhanced and amplify on my claws and added poison to them

My attack would surely hit 100 or close to it. I was sure it would do some damage to the dragon.

I used all my strength as I attacked the dragon for the third time but…..

Crack!

I saw with my own eyes as the claws ripped off my hands.

Arhghhhhhh it hurts!!!

Arrghhhhhh! Damnnnn.

I did not think of this at all!! Stupid me!

I lost two of the claws as they fell to the floor. Clutching my hands I try to keep it inside the liquid essence and then I saw it.

The dragon was gone. I was sure of it. I fell back just a few metres after I broke my claws. But I was sure the dragon was right in front of me.

Suddenly I could feel it. I felt death looming over me. I turn around to see two menacing eyes, full of anger and hatred and more importantly huge amount of killing intent.

I wanted to run, wanted to escape but I couldn't. I was struck with fear of death as I froze before the dragon used its tail to hit me with all its strength.

Whoosh!!

As soon as the tail came in contact with me I could feel the force it carried. It broke my right arm instantly as I flew and crashed to the wall of the Egg.

Urgh...I couldn't feel my body anymore. I didn't even know where the pain was coming from. I open my eyes to see the dragon slowly walking up to me.

I ignored all the pain as I watched death walk towards me.

I regretted.

I should have played it safe.

Deep inside I never trusted the fact that I have come into this world. Deep inside I always thought that it would be all over once I woke up. This is not real.

I was foolish. All the pain, hunger and experiences I have gotten was enough to tell whether it was fake or real.

But I was still foolish. I thought it was just a dream, If I die here I thought I would be back in my world.

Is this the end? Then so be it. I deserved it all. I played with my own life. And this is the price.

I slowly closed my eyes as I took one last look at the dragon.
