Chapter 2

*Ria's POV*

4 years later...

It's been 4 years since I was sold to Alpha Klaus as his possession, these four years have been the worst years of my life.

If I were to choose between my old life at my pack and this new life, I'll definitely choose to go back living the way I was. There I was also being bullied, but it's nothing compared to what I'm being made to go through in this pack.

When I came here four years ago, Alpha Klaus took a sudden interest in me and he also became my worst bully, not only did he torture me mentally and physically, he's also been abusing me through out the years I've been here.

I was literally made to serve him, clean the house, do the dishes and those of the other pack members.

But the worst of all, he made me, his play thing!

The first night it happened, I had begged him to let me go, but that never happened. I tried fighting him off but what's the strength of a weak omega compared to that of an Alpha, that was how I had lost my innocence in the worst possible way I could ever imagined.

That night I had wished so bad to die and even after that, I had tried to commit suicide, but each time I got caught or got saved and after my recovery, Alpha Klaus will be sure to punish me sexually and give me so much beatings for trying to take the easy way out as he would call it.

I've also tried to escape from this hell-hole, but it's never possible with how heavily guarded this pack is.

For four years, I've been tortured so badly even for every little mistake and it got to the point that I couldn't wish to die anymore. I had to accept my fate, the fate of living this cursed life that's never going to change.

I was once hopeful that I was going to get my wolf when I turned 18, but on my 18th birthday, nothing happened. Today I'll be turning 20 and I doubt that this birthday will be any different from the rest.

Maybe, I am an omega after all.

I heard a loud knock on my door, jolting me out of my thoughts.

I stood up to get the door, I opened the door to see a guard standing outside, my heart skipped a beat, I knew what this meant, the Alpha was calling me.

Another day of torture.

"The Alpha has—"

"I'll be there." I interrupted.

The guard nodded and then he left.

The day has just started and he couldn't even wait to do whatever he wants to do. I heaved a deep breath as I tried to calm my nerves, when I had managed to calm myself down a bit, I left for the Alpha's chambers.

When I arrived, the guard outside announced my presence before opening the door. I walked in to see the Alpha seated on his bed with a towel wrapped around his waist.

"You're late!" He growled. "I should have them give you a good beating but I'm going to let it slide just this once, you know what to do, so get on with it!" He ordered and then he loosed the towel wrapped around his waist.

He leaned backwards and raised his head towards the ceiling. "You shouldn't keep me waiting Ria, I don't have much patience and you know it." He said darkly.

I walked towards him, my legs were shaking so bad and I kept on praying to not make a mistake, otherwise I'm done for.

I slowly got down on my knees, my eyes were tightly closed shut as I got to it.

I felt so disgusted with myself, each time he makes me do this, the hate I feel for myself only grows, there was no way for this torment to end and the only thing I could do was hope this all ends quickly.

"Stop acting so innocent now will you!" He barked and then he grabbed a fist full of my hair and yanked it backwards.

I gagged when he shoved his full length into my mouth, hitting the back of my throat aggressively.

Tears welled up in my eyes and with each thrust he made, I could feel my breath leaving me, I felt so suffocated that I thought I was going to die from this.

No matter how I tried telling him to stop, he didn't stop until he relieved himself, he then forcefully made me swallow his seed.

"Good girl." He said as he roughly pushed me away. "Your job is done here, now get out of my sight!" He spat.

I didn't wait to be told twice, I forced myself to my feet and scurried out of there.

I didn't go back to my room, I couldn't bear to be alone in that room at the moment, it'll only make me feel even more suffocated.

I ran into the woods as fast as my legs could carry me and then I went to my place of solitude, a place I had discovered one night I ran away from the palace, the place was so beautiful and magical that being there was enough to make me forget all my worries and each time something happens, that's where I always visit.

The place had a lake and a waterfall. When I arrived, I jumped into the lake, not bothering to take off my clothes.

I allowed myself to sink deep into the lake and only emerged when I had calmed down a bit.

I spent some time swimming in the lake and when I've had enough, I came out. I felt so exhausted that the first thing I did was lie on the grass and fall asleep.

I couldn't tell for how long I slept, but when I woke up, it was night time already.

"Oh no!" I panicked as I hurriedly stood up.

If the Alpha realises I'm gone then he's going to kill me.

Without thinking twice, I dashed towards the palace, unaware that it was a full moon tonight.

Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain in my body and I had to pause to catch my breath. I thought the pain was probably due to how tired I was and would end soon, but that wasn't the case.

The pain came again and this time with much force, even worse than the first one, my entire body was starting to burn up and when the pain became too unbearable, I fell to the floor, screaming so loudly.

I had no idea what was happening to me and I was so terrified, soon my bones began to crack and reform.

I didn't want to believe it, but this only happens when someone is about to have their first shift. I can't believe that I was finally having my first shift after so many years.

My teeth turned into fangs, my fingers into claws, hair sprouted out of my body and with each change, the pain levelled up.

I've always heard that a werewolf's first transformation is always so painful that one would literally want to die due to the pain.

My screams were soon to turn into whimpers and when my transformation was complete, I let out a loud howl before collapsing.

By the time I woke up, it was morning and the pain I had felt wasn't there anymore.

I stood up and looked around. The whole thing feels like a dream to me. If it hadn't been for my torn clothes on the floor, then I never would have believed that I had my first shift.

I was filled with so much happiness that I jumped around for a while, forgetting the fact that I was naked.

I had thought that I was an omega, everyone had the same throughout too, but now I have a wolf, I'm not an omega after all.

"Of course you're not." I heard a voice and I yelped in fear.

I quickly went to hide behind a tree. "Who's there?" I called out, but got no response.

"You really are a dummy, isn't it." The voice said once more, startling me even more.

"Who are you!? Who's there?" I yelled.

"Calm down Ria, if you'll just listen, you'll see that I'm inside of you, I'm your wolf." She replied and I sighed deeply.

"Wow, I was so scared, I'm not used to this, so you're in my head!?'' I questioned, trying to contain my excitement.

"Yes Ria, my name is Ariel and you could have had your transformation long ago but the constant torture delayed the transformation." She explained.

I and Ariel had a conversation and it all felt so cool that I lost track of time. When I suddenly realised how much time I've spent outside, I became scared again, but Ariel managed to calm me down.

Since I've gotten my wolf now, I wouldn't be as weak as before.

I picked up my torn clothes and wore what was left of it since I had nothing else prepared and then I went back to the palace.

I managed to sneak my way in, so as to avoid anyone seeing me dressed like this, I got to my room and hurriedly took a bath, put on some clean clothes before leaving to the kitchen.

The head cook didn't fail to scold me for being so late and then she handed me a food tray to go serve the Alpha.

I proceeded to the dining room, not knowing that I would be presented with the greatest shock of my life.

The moment I stepped inside the dining room, I was welcomed with the sweet scent of pine trees, hitting my nose hard and driving my wolf nuts.

Alpha Klaus abruptly stood up, his gaze solemnly fixed on me, our gaze met and my wolf howled in joy before saying the words I never expected to hear.

"Mate!!"

My eyes widened with shock, the tray I was holding fell from my hands with a loud crash.

"No, this can't be." I muttered as I stumbled back in shock.

The colour already drained from Alpha Klaus's face and he was looking like he'd seen a ghost. Apparently, he's just as shocked as I am.

How is this even possible, my own abuser happens to be my mate!!

I couldn't bear to look at him, I sharply turned around and ran out of there in tears, I ran straight to my room and locked the door when I got in.

My legs felt so weak that I fell to the floor, my head was spinning so much, different thoughts were running through my mind.

"This can't be happening, this can't be happening." I muttered.

All the suffering Alpha Klaus has put me through flashed through my mind and I screamed in pain.

Fate has always played tricks on me, but this is the biggest, I began to curse at the moon goddess, demanding what kind of games she was playing with me.

Ariel tried to speak and told me to not blame the goddess as she never makes a mistake. "Look Ria, I know you've gone through so much already, I know he's put you through a lot already, but let's look at the bright side of things, all this will definitely end, mate is going to change and accept us."

"You have no idea what you're saying, Ariel! Klaus hates me so much, he's always hated me right from the very start, he never misses an opportunity to torture me and you think a man like that will simply accept us just because we're mates!"

Ariel was about to say something when someone knocked on the door. I didn't want to answer thinking it was Klaus until I heard a guard's voice.

"Your presence is needed outside, Ria."

I slowly stood up and went to open the door.

"Come with me." He said before leaving and I trailed behind him.

He took me outside to where a huge crowd was waiting and I was surprised as I had no idea what was going on.

Suddenly, Klaus walked up to me and roughly grabbed my hand, then he pulled me up to the stage and then did the most unimaginable thing ever.

I never saw this coming and what he was about to do broke me completely.

He rejected me in front of the whole pack and introduced another woman as his Luna and mate.
