NITROGENOUS BASE

She was gorgeous but not affable. She was the younger sister of Paul Hammond and she had just arrived from Tokyo, Japan after the completion of her PhD program in cell and molecular biology. She had missed home and in her mind were a lot of ideas she could not wait to start working on. Unlike Paul she was more ambitious and tenacious with science. Science was the blood the flowed through her blood. She sat quiet going through the files that were haphazardly placed on her brothers table. The family company did not seem to be reclining, meaning her brother had been doing some serious work and she wanted to be a part of it. She sat scanning the office that her dad some time ago occupied. She had a surprise for her brother. And she couldn’t just wait to let him know. Hammond moved in quickly, Faisal was just behind him.   “Ahh…Paradise you are already here.” Hammond said and moved over to take his seat. Faisal stood on the left side of his boss’s table with both hands behind him. Something he had always been good at.   “Faisal, meet my younger sister, Paradise Hammond. No actually Dr. Paradise Hammond, she just got her PhD.” Hammond introduced. Faisal nodded his head and greeted, “Nice to meet you too.” Paradise nodded her head.   “Cool. So, you are the I. T guy?” Paradise inquired. “Yes, mom I am.” Faisal replied.  Paradise chuckled and gave Faisal a disappointed look. She did not give a further comment. Paradise then placed her hands in her bag and gave a portable vertical minute bottle that contained blood to Faisal. Faisal looked on stunned.   “This is what your I.T brain failed to obtain.” Paradise said mischievously. “But now we have it.” Hammond looked on surprised taking the blood bottle from Faisal.   “Is that the blood sample of one of the Quansah’s?” Hammond inquired.” Yes, it is the brother. I was intrigued by the video you showed me and the future prospect of such a biochemical symbiosis. This is grand, and I cannot start working on it.” Paradise said with flair of inordinate enthusiasm. Hammond quickly stood to his feet still admiring the thing that he had desperately hoped to find and now her sister – a Malaika, had just obtained it for him easily.   “This is awesome Paradise. You deserve more than a PhD.” Hammond said and gave the potion back to Faisal. “Faisal, we finally did it.”   “And also, about your Hamozol formula, the concentration of the sodium benzoate and Hydro phenol Dichlcorate are of low concentration, that is the reason why clients lose the energy in a short period when they take the d**g. But with my specialization in bioenergetics, we are going to upgrade Hamozol to something perpetual.” Paradise said.   “You know, I cannot believe you have all this planned out already. We cannot wait to have you on board. Your ideas are just mind blowing. Faisal what do you think?” Hammond inquired from Faisal.   “She is phenomenal Sir. I have never met a woman like her.” Faisal said. Paradise smiled for the first time that day. She was not one that received many complements from men.   “Thank you, Faisal, I am looking forward to working with you. Can you take that to the Bio lab?” Paradise asked and gave the blood sample to Faisal, “Yes of course Madame.” Faisal replied and quickly moved out of the office. Paradise then stood to her feet.   “Humans with super abilities and it mysteriously run in the family?” Paradise asked. Hammond nodded. “Yes, all I have always wanted was to know how their DNA was special from ours, and it looks like with the blood sample from the boy, we finally have the answer.” Hammond added.   “Great. One last thing. I want to be in charge of this project.” Paradise said. “Of course sister, you are in charge. And what are you going to call this project?” Hammond inquired   “I will call it Project De-aNAlisation .” Paradise said with a smile spreading over her face and Hammond nodding to that.     -------         The night breeze was similitude to an organic solitude. Far somewhere in vicinity, from called Costal Ville; a blue string of circular energy encircled a grazing ground. It tore between the air and with a twinkle, a portal or a wormhole was open. A small ‘V’ shaped space shuttle then emerged from the portal onto the lad exuding bright white lights. Two creatures that were overtly not from this earth emerged in their natural form. Their phenotype was violet-green in nature and had a hard exoskeleton. It was obvious, the two creatures were aliens. They wielded a fighting staff in one hand. After they were fully out of the space shuttle one of them initiated something on the space shuttle and the shuttle quickly disappeared. The other nodded to what had been done. They reprogramed their skin and transformed into humans of this earth. A man and a woman. They leaped and enigmatically they were flying in the air. They then dropped down to the ground and that was it. They were ready to go. One of then spoke to the other in an alien language saying,   “The hour of the restitution is here. We do not have time.” One of the aliens said to the other and together, they moved on holding hands.   -------   Philip was at it again in his laboratory. He wanted to finish a work before he went home. He was on the usual observing an animal specimen under the shady light of an electronic microscope. Then suddenly he heard a minute shake on the table he was working on. Philip then stopped and looked around for some time. It was night and most of the colleagues at the University were home. But Philip had purposed to finish what he was working on. He moved back to what he was doing. Then he heard the shake again. He looked around and saw nothing. He then went back to his microscope again, but then the sound came in again. This time it was more palpable. Philip quickly placed his microscope away and became sober at what was happening.   Then it happened, a blue energy immediately materialized like a glow of water and immediately a creature, with unconventional skin emerged and crushed the samples Philip was working on causing a scuffle in one lonely second. Philip was quickly thrust back as he stood to behold the creature who looked more feminine than masculine.  The creature stood facing Philip with eyes wide open. Philip did not know whether to run or scream. He started moving back, but then he tripped and fell slowly not hurting himself. The creature was also closing in on him. Fear held Philip hostage and he prayed the creature would not kill him. He stood spell bound and stiff. The creature moved closer, bent down and touched the face of Philip. Then suddenly there was a golden glow and the creature morphed into a human - woman. A young beautiful n***d woman. Philip on seeing that quickly took out his white lab coat and covered her. The woman was not shy or sorry like Philip. The women took the cloth and cover herself.   “Thank you.” The strange women said. Philip was surprised she could speak English. “You can speak English?” Philip asked.   “Yes.” She replied. “I missed you brother…I am glad I found you again” Philip looked on stunned. What was she talking about?   “What! Did you just call me brother?”   “Yes, you are my brother. We have lived for four thousand years. And I came to search for you and the others. We have a very problem.” The lady said. Philip was more confused.   “I am not getting you. I have two sisters, but you do not resemble any.” Philip replied.   “The Norea… you have it. You need to give it to me, or else Koneria dies.”   “What!” Philip exclaimed totally lost.
