Three nights later, Melina descended the stairs of the mansion. The place at night felt cold. She had made a mental note not to leave her room after eleven o'clock at night in the previous days, but she desperately needed to eat something. It wasn't for her. It was for the baby. Melina walked through the silent corridors of the mansion, feeling a strange sensation in the air. The darkness of the night seemed to intensify every sound and shadow around her. The paintings hanging on the walls seemed to watch her with piercing gazes, adding an air of mystery to the surroundings. As she passed through the rooms, Melina noticed how the atmosphere became even colder, despite being protected by her coat. Every slight noise made her alert, her heart beating faster with each moment. It was as if the mansion itself was alive, whispering dark secrets in every corner. "I still can't believe I'm going through this, my God." She whispered softly, remembering Joice's expression, the wolf-like features evident on his masculine face. Despite the eerie atmosphere, Melina continued her exploration courageously towards the kitchen. Even though the place was huge, she had a purpose in mind and wouldn't let fear dominate her. Every step was careful, every glance attentive, ready to face any challenge that might arise. As she walked, Melina descended the stairs and before heading towards the kitchen, she saw a partially open door. A faint light was shining from inside. For a second, she heard a low noise. Curious, Melina deviated her path towards the partially open door. The dim light shining from inside intrigued her. The low noise she had heard increased her curiosity and urged her to investigate. Cautiously, she approached and then looked inside. It was shocking when she saw the image of Joice shirtless, his pants rolled up to his knees, while he was with a woman on his table. Melina stood still, not making a sound, shocked by the encounter. Melina was paralyzed in front of the shocking scene she witnessed. Her eyes fixed on the image of Joice, his shirt unbuttoned and his dress pants rolled up, while an unknown woman was on his table. The shock of the encounter caused Melina to make no sound, her mind quickly processing what her eyes were seeing. As she remained motionless, the image seemed to engrave itself in her mind. Melina felt a knot in her stomach as she witnessed the pleasure-filled screams coming from the woman on the table, being taken by that man. The intensity of the moment was evident, and Melina remembered past nights when she herself had experienced the intensity of passion with Joice. However, she never imagined she would see it so explicitly and blatantly. Joice, a man who identified himself as an alpha, was always known for his ability to attract women and avoid spending nights alone. His charismatic personality and magnetic charm were irresistible elements to many women who crossed his path. He knew how to conquer and seduce, and made sure not to let any opportunity slip away. "I told you I would be inside you, didn't I?" His dark eyes held the attention of the gorgeous and beautiful blonde before him. Her legs spread open, a layer of sweat covering both their bodies in a thin film. "God, you f**k so well!" The wolf inside him shared the pleasure. For a moment, the sensation was intoxicating. But he stopped, his body almost succumbing to a delightful release. His instincts sensed the presence of someone else there besides him and the scantily clad blonde on his table. His alpha instinct immediately revealed who was in the corridor. He smelled Melina. Upon sensing Melina's scent in the hallway, Joice immediately realized her presence. His heightened alpha instincts allowed him to recognize Melina's distinctive scent among many others. His mind wondered what she was doing there. He closed his eyes, feeling the woman's body writhing on his rigid member. What was Melina waiting for to leave from there? Joice felt a mix of intense emotions upon realizing that Melina was there, observing the scene. While trying to contain the situation and find words to explain himself, his mind filled with questions about Melina's intentions in remaining in the location. He wasn't a fan of being observed. So he thrust even deeper into the woman and climaxed, with an annoyed grit of his teeth. When he withdrew from her, he pulled up his pants and simply turned around. "What's wrong?" "Get dressed." With a superhuman effort, Melina finally found the strength to move. She quietly stepped away from the partially open door, feeling a knot form in her throat. Where on earth had she gotten herself into? She hurried to the kitchen, and as soon as she entered, she took a deep breath. Still in shock from what she had witnessed, including the sound of grinding teeth that she knew came from him. She felt dazed and overwhelmed, a mixture of shock and anger in the face of the scene she had witnessed. With trembling hands, Melina leaned on the kitchen counter, trying to regain her composure and process everything she had seen. Joice followed the scent of confusion to the kitchen. When he entered, he saw the young woman leaning on the counter, wearing a long coat and a lost expression on her face, as if she had seen something she didn't want to and shouldn't have. He still had his shirt open, and he smelled of woman's perfume and s*x. On the other hand, Joice's heightened senses captured the exact scent of the blonde standing in his kitchen. It was sweet and gentle. Melina didn't notice his presence until she saw the shadow and lifted her gaze to Joice, overwhelmed by a terrifying sensation, as if she had been caught doing something very wrong. In this case, spying behind the door and witnessing him having an intimate moment with another woman. "Joice." Joice approached Melina slowly, observing the shocked and uncomfortable expression on her face. He noticed how Melina seemed cornered, as if she had been caught red-handed, and this sparked a mixture of amusement in Joice. He approached cautiously, his voice sounding soft and concerned. "Melina... I... I didn't expect you to be here. What were you doing?" The feeling of having invaded Joice's privacy and witnessed an intimate scene was embarrassing. "I just came down to get something to eat." Melina couldn't help but notice the wolf tattoo on Joice's left chest. It was a detailed and imposing tribal artwork. She observed his exposed torso, revealing the defined muscles and the virility that emanated from him. Joice looked down, noticing Melina's gaze on his tattoo. He ran his hand over his chest, lightly touching the area where the tribal wolf was inked. "This tattoo represents my connection to my primal nature, to my alpha essence," explained Joice, his voice filled with a certain reverence. "The wolf symbolizes my strength, my leadership, and my courage. It's a constant reminder of who I am and my purpose." "That's nice, I'll go upstairs." She tried to move, but Joice stood in front of her, blocking her path. Melina's light eyes looked towards the imposing man who prevented her from moving. Melina felt cornered by Joice's imposing presence, which prevented her from leaving the kitchen. Her heart raced as Joice's light eyes locked onto her, conveying a mixture of amusement and challenge. "Going back upstairs already? Without grabbing anything?" Joice said, his voice laden with provocation. "You know the kitchen is not in the room where you were spying, right?" Melina swallowed hard, her mind working quickly to come up with a plausible excuse. She felt vulnerable, knowing she had been caught red-handed. "I... I was just looking for a quick snack," Melina stammered, trying to appear innocent. "I didn't want to interrupt... your moment." Joice took a step closer, intensifying the sense of being cornered. His playful smile remained, but there was a spark of interest in his eyes. "Interesting," he said, leaning slightly toward Melina. "You don't seem like the type who's satisfied with just observing." Melina felt her face blush at Joice's insinuation. She was becoming increasingly uncomfortable with the situation, desperately wishing for an exit. "I... I really shouldn't have stayed here," she murmured, avoiding Joice's piercing gaze. "I apologize for invading your privacy." Joice smiled subtly and held Melina's chin, gently lifting it so their gazes met. "No need to apologize," he said, his voice now soft, making a note of her pregnant state. He couldn't be so bad. For the first time, he didn't want to make a joke or get angry. "Let me go to my room." Melina felt simultaneously intrigued and apprehensive by Joice's words. She didn't exactly know what he meant, but there was an intense and unpredictable energy hanging between them. Before she could respond, Joice released Melina's chin and took a step back, creating space between them. "Believe me, Melina, there is much more to discover here," he said, his tone suggestive. "But maybe it's not the right time. For now, I think it's best for you to go upstairs and rest." Melina nodded, feeling relieved at the opportunity to escape from that uncomfortable situation.
