–––––––– Jethro crept into the house and put a load of boxes by the door. Stella hadn’t been kidding. Her apartment was a disaster. He’d spent hours trying to pack up everything that was worth saving. He hurried back outside to get the rest of her things. The house was quiet, and he wanted to keep it that way. He grabbed the last few boxes and took them to the house.
