Trinity crept down the hallway to their suite of rooms.
“You’re late,” mumbled Rex from where he sat outside their apartment.
“You really need to get some sleep.” The poor Guard looked exhausted. “You know Hugh doesn’t like you staying out here all night.”
“He doesn’t like you leaving by yourself either.” He frowned at her. “And I agree. It’s stupid.”
“I can take care of myself.” She punched in the keycode to their room. “Go to bed.”
