Chapter 25 – They’ve been picked
I watched as Anna walked into the meeting room, her eyes opening wide as she saw the two little ones playing on the floor. She was the last to show up and she looked rather confused as to why they would be there, not that I blamed her. I didn’t have my kids here very often because they couldn’t offer much.
