~One year later~
“Here we are,” I said as I opened the door, allowing Amber and Julian to enter first. “What do you think?” I asked. We just arrived at our new house. Amber kept looking and Julian was examining the inside.
“Becker, this is awesome. What do you think, Julian?”
“Yeah, it’s nice.” Of course.
Starting today, the three of us….oh, sorry, the four of us would be staying in this new house together. I had built it ever since I married Amber and I was glad we finished it. Well, not exactly on time but I was thankful the house was finished before Julian started his university.
