I just arrived at Amber’s bar and the place had packed with a lot of people. I parked my Shelby and entered the bar. Immediately heading to my favorite spot as Dom approached me. “Hey. Amber told me. Your drink is on the house.”
“Thanks, Dom.”
“No problem. That was very nice of you to fixed her beloved bike.”
“Something happened. She doesn’t want to at first. A man was there with her – Cassius.” And Dom lost his smile. Ah, the dude knew him.
“I assume Julian did something and Amber was covering him.” I nodded.
“Is it bad? His relationship with Julian?” Because when I remembered it again, it seemed nothing was wrong between those two.
“No, Julian and Cassius are buddies. Not really close though but Julian knows him through Amber, obviously. But Cassius will always be on Ambe
