I am currently outside watching as the older guards train the dogs incase if something happens to me, they will be there to... Protect me somehow? I'm not sure.

Ok (Kalan's view at the office)

I ordered two of my men, Brooke and Luther, to watch over her while I had to take meeting. Right now I am waiting for my guests to arrive. 

"I'm getting bored of this, what's taking them so long? They should be here by now the private airstrip isn't that far from here only an hours drive" I stated to no one in particular.

"Capo, relax you do realize that this meeting is about alliances and tonight you will be introducing her to them ask yours and also a few of the guests that will be here, some of their wives is pregnant so its bound to take longer that usual to get here" said Luca, he never calls me brother or by my name, and its upsetting.

I mean we are family adopted or blood you are still still family ang most of the guys that worked for my dad, that works for me now and their children call me by my name or they call me 'dude' (camels p***s lmfao).

"Yea, yea" I said turning my attention to to my baby girl who looks to be staring into space.

"Luther, give her the piece. I wanna talk to her please" I said to my guards watching her from a  respectful distance.

"Ok brother" he said then I watched him walk all the way to her up the hill. I could hear him clearing his throat to gain her attention. she turned around to see who it was then she greeted him with a small smile when he offered her a small earpiece that was connected to everyone else. Including mine. She took it then nodded her head when he told her that I wanted to talk with her.

Scout*

"So what do you have in mind for this evening" he asked me huskily out of nowhere. God I love his voice.

"I am not sure. I don't even know if I'm allowed to be anywhere without your guards watching me from ever corner that is 20 feet away from me" I said sounding a little annoyed 

"Sorry about that but you are still a target, and I want to keep you safe. Since Kyle s off doing your shopping for you I had to do it I am not risking anything that could happen to you, babe" he said it again, why I don't know.

"Its fine" I said keeping to myself.

"Look, when this is over I will let you be on your own again but until then you are with me and I am not the type to keep you with me by force. I just wanted you to know that" he said, he sounded like he was in deep thought and hurt about it so changing the sub will work now.

"So Mr. Fancy pants, what are you up to?" I asked him hearing him sign a bit of relieve 

"I am currently in my office, waiting for this meetings to start-"

"Wait, what? Meetings? Didn't you say that this was a safe place where I wouldn't have to worry about people finding out that I am here?" I asked trying to figure out if I was informed wrong or not

"Yes, you are right however you didn't let me finish. As I was saying, I am waiting on my alliances to get here to discus a few details and so on but nothing really serious for you to worry about. I wont put you in danger if its not necessary. I swore to your brother that I would do anything and everything in my power to keep you safe." he said 

"Who cares about what he think, he was never around and never cared. What's the difference now that I am all grown up?" I said getting upset and he could sense it I looked at the building to see where he was, they said his office has the best view, besides my room, "What floor are you on?" I asked still looking up and down to see if I can get any movement by a window.

"The last floor and I can see that you are very upset, so if I may, can I make it up to you tonight?" he asked with slight hope in his voice. I'm starting to think that I love bringing up arguments at the worst times and wrong times. And I do not want that to happen to him... I care too you know. Giving my full attention to the building I see that he is standing and leaning against the window. Ga'damn his fine.

"So what do you have in mind?" I asked

"There's a welcoming party tonight and I was hoping if you would be my partner for this evening. My parents are throwing it to welcome everyone together again and.... I want them to know that you are with me at that party, I don't want you to ne alone so will you?" he asked me an all I could do was look in his direction. Clearing my throat I said

"On one condition, or maybe two if that's ok" I waited for his response, he nod for me to continue. 

"No getting drunk and no s*x when the night is over. I can control myself, I hope that you will to unless otherwise, ok?" I stated making a deal in the mean time 

"Ok then, but there is one more question I want to ask but I will save it for late. And your brother sends his regards to you he wont be back for sometime because he has business to attend to. He also said that he left you a gift last night in your room, don't worry I respect privacy and yours no different." he said 

"Huh uh hmm... Thank you, tell him that I am doing fine and will you please tell my why everyone is looking at me like they hope I say yes to the dress type of things? Sorry, its one of my shows I like to watch when I'm bored at night..." I was a mumbling mess to be honest this guy asked me out on a date and I give him conditions? Seriously, what is wrong with me? I'm acting like I just found my biggest fear in the world, and my future. 

Damn, I should really stop fantasizing, now is not a good time.

When I saw everyone smirk my way and him I know I said that out loud.

"Shit."

I went back to my meetings when everyone arrive not long after Scout took a afternoon nap. Throughout the meeting everyone would smile coz' I will lose my focus here and there. My parents and Jax arrived with the last of the bunch that had to be here unfortunately their daughter and friends took the jet for a business trip. Ok.

"I'm going to ask her tonight, so Jax my right hand, will you be ok if I date your sister even if its behind your back?" I asked him in the most dumbest way possible for his permission if I could be his sisters boyfriend.

"Yes, but be warned I've seen what she can do. You no different from the guys she dealt with. Just don't give my sister more stress or even break her heart, coz' if you do, your brothers and I including your whole family will be your worst nightmare." he said and I thanked him and shock his hand.

 "Good now that, that is over its still very early so we all can turn in for a couple of hours the party starts at 9pm you know the rest thanks for coming everyone and have a good rest." my dad said before leaving the room with my mother and everyone else followed.
