BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS
Holly Adams POV:
I stepped out of the gate at the Boston Logan Airport and found Captain Arron Philips of the Boston police waiting for me.
“Corporal Adams," Philips greeted me formally.
I gave him the most professional smile I could. “Captain Philips."
“We've sent someone to collect your luggage who will meet us at the car. Please, come with me."
The guy clearly didn't want to waste time on pleasantries. That was going to take some of the fun out of this, but I understood. This situation was important.
“I trust you are familiar with the details of the case?" Philips asked me as we walked through the terminal.
“I know the basics," I replied.
“We'll get you fully briefed at the precinct."
