Chapter 21: Across the Line
Andrew Fray POV:
I went right back to the precinct after I left Zach at the bar and made my way straight to Samantha's office.
I didn't bother knocking. I just let myself in.
Samantha glanced up from her phone as I came in. “I thought I told you to get out."
“This isn't about what you want," I retorted.
Samantha kept her eyes on her phone for several more minutes. I stood and watched her. Eventually she realized that I wasn't leaving and finally put the phone down.
“What do you want?" she asked me.
“I want to know about Holly," I told her.
“Why?"
“Because she's been gone for nearly three months and I'm worried about her," I stated. “All I want from you is an update," I tried to reason. “Have you heard from her? Is she safe? Any idea of when she's com
