Chapter 37: Across the Line
Andrew Fray POV:
I'd taken my frozen friend back to my hotel room, sneaking him in through a back door and up the stairs instead of taking the elevator. It was a good thing I hadn't checked out when I moved into Holly's penthouse. My new friend was still alive, but they had lost consciousness during the drive over. When I got up to the hotel room, I wrapped him in a blanket burrito to keep him warm while I waited for Holly to arrive.
Holly ended up keeping me waiting for a few hours, and I was at risk of falling asleep when she finally came to the door.
“Andy, what hap…" she tried to ask when I opened the door but trailed off when she saw the man wrapped up on the bed. “Oh my God."
