The woman at the register rung up my coffee with a smile and told me to have a good day. Good is all I was aiming for. I woke up, slid on my favorite work blue jeans and favorite old tee. You would never know I was a buisness owner. It was a small buisness but it was mine. It had always been me behind the scenes. The money that started it. My office skills and personality kept them with us. Today, the first day of learning to live again. Small town gossip and small town loyalties. Raising my sons in the aftermath of the chaos that surrounded us all. They had suffered right along beside me. They would survive right along side of me. Or so I hope and pray.
