Chapter 11Once home, having dismissed his valet for the night, Jo picked up a pile of fresh correspondence from the hall table to categorize at his writing desk. Flicking through some invitation cards, he spotted a letter addressed with Percy’s familiar extravagant penmanship. With a resigned sigh, he opened the seal. Percy was delighted with his new treasure, and in carelessly flowing script, he coyly granted Jo the reward of all the carnal privileges that Percy relished most dearly. “Blah, blah, blah,” Jo muttered, scanning the effusive contents.
