Angel’s POV
“Okay, fine! I’ll see what I can do,” I rolled my eyes as I said it just to end the discussion with him.
But deep inside me, I really don’t want to help him. The nerve of you Mister Corpuz!
I need to find a way to get out of this place so I had to agree with him for now.
“Thank you. I owe you a lot Miss Imperial,” he said while looking at me and he managed to appear like he was sincere. I just nodded at him.
“You want a room for you to take a rest?” he asked me politely. A while ago he gave me a decent dinner that I ate alone in the living room. I had no choice but to take it since I haven’t eaten the whole day.
“Sure.”
He led me into a room upstairs and I noticed that there were only two rooms in there and I immediately thought that the other one was occupied by him.
