Chapter 3

Suddenly I'm not hungry anymore, I push my plate away with only the bananas remaining even with all my hunger I still skipped those.

Jace notice my movement and talk softly to me " No need to be afraid of him, he's kind of the boss around here but he's a big softie, you want more pancakes?"

I shake my head no, not trusting my voice and feeling very small and afraid.

He's going to kick me out now, his charity is over I'm going to sleep on the street tonight and there would be no one to hold me.

A hand land on my shoulder and I yelp, too taken into my own thoughts I look up and it's the dark twin but he's smiling at me "come on sweetie let's go talk to him and get this over with".

He offers me his hand and I take it, mine is tiny compared to his big hand but the safety of it feels good while it lasts.

Chapter 6-The Deal.

Christian POV

I'm sitting in the family room waiting for Nala and the rest of the pack. We need to talk with her. I'm really hoping she'll decide to stay with us. We are offering her a chance for a new life, for us to help her and her to help us. But it’s her choice, we’re all trying not to get attached to her this quickly until she agrees.

Nala comes in holding Kane’s hand and I can't help but smile she looks adorable, she still got that teddy in her hand, like an armor against us. I smile at her, she looks priceless, I ask her to sit while we wait for the rest of the family to come in.

I start doing the introduction "Nala I'm Christian, you met Kane and Kyle they are twins, Jace is the one you met over breakfast so let me introduce you to the rest of the family."

Aidan is the first to come in, at 6'6 and broad body made of full muscles he's kind of intimidating but he's also my fiercest warrior, his hair is buzz cut, a beard and a prominent scar over his left eyebrow along with some smaller one all over his face and body and brown eyes.

Nala looks at him and moves a bit closer to Kane, I feel the hurt of Aid although he's trying to hide it and give the girl a tight smile.

"Nala this is Aidan" she gives him a timid smile hardly looking at him at all. Fuckk, I don't want to lose her but I can't let Aid get hurt again.

Ryland walks in next, being 6'1 with ash-blond hair, blue eyes, and an easy smile he walks straight to Nala and offers her his hand while saying "Sheriff Ryland grey at your service mam" and tipped an invisible hat.

Nala pales significantly. She thinks we called the police on her. Before I can talk or say anything to put her at ease Rayland continues saying " Are any of these guys annoying you cause I can kick their a*s for you, I know where they sleep " he finishes his sentence with a wink.

Nala finally relaxes and smiles. Ohh, thank the f*****g skies, for a moment I thought we lost her.

The last one to enter the room is Stefan being 5'8 he's the shortest between us and the less intimidating looking, his black hair still bed kissed, black eyes red-rimmed showing how tired he is, being a surgeon he's used to long nights but he wouldn't miss the baby first day.

I break the silence saying "this is Stefan, and now that the family is here let's talk"

Nala pales again but she looks at me waiting to hear what I have to say, I really hope I don’t mess this up.

Nala POV

I can feel my heart beating so fast I don't know what's he's going to say or if I'm ready to hear I'm just nervous. He’s kicking me out? Selling me to the mafia? Or maybe he’s going to sacrifice me to Satan.

"Nala where do you live?" Christian question was enough for me to break and start crying. Let him kill me it’s easier, it hurt to have no one in this life. What should I say? Where did I live on the street? In the park I’m homeless.

I felt someone hugging me saying sweet nonsense in my ear and I finally calm down. looking up it's Kyle the one who had his hands around me.

Still holding me close Kyle quietly whisper in my ear "it's okay baby nothing to be ashamed of, we got you now"

"Nala it's okay baby, can you tell us how old you are?" it was Rayland add this time.

"I'm 17," I say between hiccups

"You got any family angel?" the deep voice made me look up suddenly it was Aidan, the scariest one of the group so far.

Is he asking to see if he can kill me and hide the body without anyone looking for me?

Not trusting my voice I just shake my head and he looks sad and on the verge of tears, are those sad tears for me or happy tears that he can eat me alive without remorse now.

"Nala we got an offer for you" Christian authoritative voice make me freeze

I can't look him in the eyes, I'm looking at my own hands in my lap "eyes up here nala I need you to listen carefully to me"

With some great difficulties, I look up and our eyes lock. It’s like the world stopped then, the earth stopped moving and it’s just me and him now.

"We want you to stay Nala, we are offering you a room of your own, food, clothes, an allowance, security, and safety. NO ONE and I mean NO ONE will touch you or hurt you while you're under my roof and protection. But there will be some rules you'll have to follow and consequences if you misbehave"

Ahh, here's the catch. No one gives such an offer without a cath.

"And what do you get in return, "I asked still looking at his eyes.

"WE get someone to look after, someone who needs our help and we are more than happy to offer"

"And the rules??" I contraindicate, still looking for the catch somewhere.

"Well if you accept our offer we'll sit down and talk about the rules in detail but here are some of the major rules. Once you obey all seven of us, we only want what's best for you and don't need you to fight us on every point. Two you'll be respectful to us all the time. And finally and the deal breaker is you call us Daddy"

Daddy, it just ring in my ears, I heard this word last night again I wasn't imagining. But can I do what these guys are asking me to? What are my other options?

"You can refuse if you want, we'll drive you back to town, get you a room in some motel and we'll never talk about it again. It's your choice little girl".

I don't know what to do, the thought of going back to the street tonight where it's dark and cold or gives these people a chance.

Chapter-seven: Decision

Nala POV.

The street or these guys, it’s a tough decision to make, I look up to see all seven of their eyes looking at me. Some with sad expression others with enthusiasm, it’s my decision to make but decisions never been harder.

Staying here means obeying all SEVEN of them but what will they make me do? Clean? Cook? Be their personal slave?

“Why do you want me to stay? Why me? There’s a hundred homeless person in the streets”

“Do you believe in fate?” Kyle asks and I nod yes.

Fate can be cruel, no matter how hard we try it end up breaking us all, although sometimes when you are on the verge of breaking it throw you a bone to keep you going.

“Maybe it’s fate what brought you here” Jace added.

“I’m pretty sure it was Kyle and Kane but okay” I reply.

“Regardless Nala, you are here now just give us a chance we promise we aren’t the bad guys here,” Aidan says, his voice is pleading with me to understand and accept.

I’m not one hundred percent sold, but what else am I supposed to do?

Say no and leave, even if they get me a motel for the night what am I supposed to do tomorrow.

“What do you want me to do here?” I ask, wanting to know where this deal is taking me.

“We want you to be you. Just let us help you, take care of you.” Christian assures me.

I’m desperate and desperate times need a desperate solution. At one moment I decided I want to stay and try this whatever this is.

“Okay” I whisper too afraid of saying the words out loud and making things official.

“I didn’t hear you, little girl. Come again?” Christian said in a kind voice.

They are still looking at my eyes full of expectation, so I gave it to them and said the word loudly.

“yes,” I say.

“Yes, what?” Christian challenge.

If I’m going to give these guys a chance I’ll have to do it fully.

“Yes…d…daddy,” I say making Christian and the rest to smile at me openly. I’m still on the nervous side. What did I get myself into?

Chapter 8-New Life.

Christian POV

She just called me daddy, my wolf is dancing inside my head, he misses this. I'm staring at her with love and adoration, I can feel my eyes changing my wolf want a peak too. Don't, you'll scare her. I can feel him retreat to the back of my mind still satisfied.

"Okay baby girl let's start with your rules," I say and she groans in response, I can't help but chuckle. No little likes having rules although most of them need them.

"There there baby it's not that bad:

One you address us as daddy, you can give the guys other nicknames if you want, but I'm always always daddy.

Two be respectful, no cursing, no swearing, no throwing things when you are mad.

Three-bedtime is at ten during weekdays and midnight during weekends unless we have a special occasion.

Four I'm starting a bank account in your name and your allowance would be dropped there each week"

She starts shaking her head when I got to the money part as if I'm leaving my baby broke and poor. I ignore her and keep going with the rules.

"Five you can go in and out when you want, but text me first I need to know where you are. The guys can give you lifts to town till I trust you'll be safe enough behind a wheel. Curfew is at six pm.

Six do what we ask you to do, we only want what's best for you.

And finally, the property is surrounded by the forest, you can go to the backyard if you want, but not in the forest, there are wolves they don't hurt anyone if u see one just retreat calmly and get your a*s in the house.

Do I make myself clear??"

She looked at me for a couple of minutes probably thinking everything through and finally, she nodded.

"Use your words "

"Yes daddy" she whispers

Her words sent electricity through my body and I could feel my jeans getting tighter.

I clear my throat "Dismissed, go introduce her to our two resident trouble makers " looking over to her I smile and add "consider them your two brothers, but if they get too much feel free to tell me ".
